Machine Head : Imperium

One of the greatest songs, ever. Definitely, one of the songs that inspire me to keep going forward... especially the faster part at the end. This video is censored, but the lyrics can be found here.

This is one of the first YouTube videos that I watched ... Kirk Hammett is a true legend.

Pachebel Rant

A comedian rants about how much it sucks to play Pachelbel's Canon in D on a cello. Recorded live at Penn State, this piece by comedian/musician Rob Paravonian has been a favorite on the Dr. Demento Show.

Starcraft on Touchscreen...

While waiting for StarCraft II to come and sweep everything that has been made before with its beauty, watch this video. In it, the guy who took it, plays the original StarCraft but instead of using the familiar mouse+keyboard combination, he guides his units by pointing them on a touchscreen. I am eager to try it myself, only I will have to find a touchscreen first. As I said to a friend of mine, the touchscreen brings a new strategic element to the game :)

Wiki of the Day: Superhero

Wikipedia continues to surprise me every single day. The guys have even put an article about superheroes. Cool!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A superhero is fictional character "of unprecedented physical prowess dedicated to acts of derring-do in the public interest,” [1] Since the debut of the archetypal superhero, Superman, in 1938, stories of superheroes — ranging from brief episodic adventures to continuing years-long sagas — have dominated American comic books and crossed over into other media.

By most definitions, characters need not have actual superhuman powers to be deemed superheroes, although sometimes terms such as costumed crimefighters[2] are used to refer to those without such powers who have many other common traits of superheroes.

The term was once trademarked, and co-owned by DC Comics and Marvel Comics.

The Tool : MeeTimer

Finally, I found it. From now on, every time when I complain about how much time I'm losing while surfing the net with no particular purpose, I will be able to see a detailed list, including every page that I've visited, as well as the exact time that I've been on it. I can even divide the pages by categories, like on the photo .Yes, it is that simple, using this Firefox extension: MeeTimer. You can see a more detailed description of the tool here.

Download it.

How to cope with tough situations

This video shows the advantages of not being very well known by your professors. Sometimes this is a big PLUS. By the way the quality of the video is pretty bad, but it doesn't stop you from getting the idea. Enjoy!
